Chief Executive Officer - Chad Orr

Chad is responsible for all aspects of Skybridge’s customer management and business development activities.  In addition to this, he is also a member of the Skybridge Board.

Chad joined Skybridge in September 2015 and brings with him over 15 years of experience in the construction and field services industry.  Prior to joining Skybridge, Chad had worked 8 years for Service Stream Limited, including responsibilities as EGM of Service Stream communication business and EGM of Strategy and Growth. 

As the EGM of Service Stream Communications, he was responsible for managing all P&L and operational aspects of the division. Earlier in his career Chad also spent time working within Telstra and Dun & Bradstreet.

Chief Operating Officer - Afshin Mashayekhi

Afshin Mashayekhi

Afshin is an accomplished and results oriented Senior Executive with over 15 years’ experience in the IT and Communications sectors. Afshin has proven senior-level experience in executive decision-making, strategic business planning, contract negotiation, stakeholder management, systems and process analysis. Excellent negotiating, analytical and problem solving skills and a proven ability to manage and complete large-scale projects to the highest standard.

Dedicated and driven, Afshin is adept at managing large budgets, multinational stakeholders and vendors while coordinating operations to deliver sustainable business growth. Highly developed leadership skills and a commitment to people and culture provide a platform for achieving customer satisfaction. Afshin’s disciplined delivery governance is underpinned by robust technical and strategic business acumen.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (Computer Hardware Engineering) and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)

Chief Information Officer – Nick Hutchins

Nick Hutchins

In 2000 Nick founded Digital Tree to develop customised software systems that manage remote workforces, and managing the risks associated with large delivery projects. Nick is recognised by industry peers as an expert in this niche field. He has delivered solutions to the food services, pharmaceutical, wholesale and technical services industries. Nick created SIMON for Skybridge and has been integral in its continuous development to service the company's continued expansion.

Skybridge acquired Digital Tree in 2011 and since then Nick has worked within the business. Skybridge has been selected in BRW Top 5 Most Innovative Companies in 2012 for the development of our highly successful scheduling system, Skybook. Nick manages a team of in-house developers to meet the requirements of the various programs.

Nick is also responsible for business continuity planning.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Commerce

Chief Commercial Officer – Stephen Huybens

Stephen Huybens

Stephen has over 25 years’ experience in construction, operations and maintenance, procurement, commercial and contract management across Australia and Asia Pacific working in several senior management positions for leading Utility and ICT infrastructure companies. He is a committed and driven professional who has an intimate understanding of risk, contract management and the procurement (lifecycle), estimating and contractual negotiation providing sound commercial governance and guidance.

Stephen looks to add value in everything that he does and understands that in business, there is no reward without risk, the key is to manage risk effectively in order to maximise the reward.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Management), MBA (Governance) and Masters of Commercial Law (Australia and China), and is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS)

Chief Financial Officer - Michael Burgess

Michael Burgess

Michael is an experienced executive having held key senior roles across a diverse range of industries including Media, Advertising, Energy and Renewable Fuels. He has over 25 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer with both ASX listed entities and privately held businesses. Michael is committed to adding value across all aspects of Skybridge and to provide the best support for the business so Customers receive best possible outcome.

Michael is responsible for the financial management, human resources and logistics operations at Skybridge.

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant, Bachelor of Business (Accounting).

Chief Human Resources Officer - Dawn Lackie

Dawn Lackie

Dawn has more than 25 years of diverse business experience across multiple sectors including the telecommunications and utilities sectors.  Prior to joining Skybridge in June 2016, Dawn's roles included leadership roles with Utility Services Group, Service Stream and BellSouth New Zealand.  She has extensive experience leading organisational strategy, promoting operational effectiveness and elevating team performance through innovative leadership.

Dawn is committed to helping people and organisations achieve their full potential.  She has the powerful combination of broad business acumen and human resource management expertise.

Qualifications: Master of Human Resource Management.
